PledgeFactor
It is a wide spread and well known rumor that fraternities all over the continent haze their pledges before initiating them as brothers. This piece examines the hazing crimes of the Jewish fraternity, Alpha Epsilon Pi. Watch as the brothers of AEPi make light of fraternity stereotypes and Jewish stereotypes all in one delightful comedy.
EOTC 2010: White Water Rafting
It is customary for the Beta Chi Brother at Large to throw an EOTC or Event of the Century at the end of the year. This year was no exception as we decided as a group to go Rafting with Chilliwack River Rafting. The brothers in attendance, 16 total, were in excellent physical condition, and thus had the experience of a lifetime! 5 Brothers chose to soft body kayak, while the remaining 11 had a blast in the raft. The Bros were hit by a mix of sun and cloud in 16 degree weather. In addition, we loved the medium water levels, guided tour of a 20m waterfall, and abundance of rapids. This was a truly a bro-mantic bonding break from our studies.
Conclave 2010 in San Diego
Beta Chi men on their way to the beach during AEPi's Western Conclave in San Diego. These Beta Chi brothers (and others, not pictured) received the event's highest honor, 'best delegation', for their dedication, energy, and spirit. Their award was presented to the delegation, by AEPi Executive Director, Andy Borans.
