Philanthropy at AEΠ is very important to the brotherhood. Taking an interest in issues in society and helping to address them is a responsibility that every organization should fulfill. The Philanthropy chair at AEΠ is responsible for planning and co-ordinating these events and helping to make socially conscionable decisions. Every year, AEΠ is involved with numerous philanthropy organizations. From participating in food drives to raising funds, the brotherhood has maintained a solid philanthropic outlook since its establishment.

The most prominent philanthropic event in the fraternity is the annual "Rock for Cancer" event, where the brothers vow to sit in rocking chairs for no less than 36 hours. In the past, the event has raised over $10,000 at UBC! The event has gained campus-wide acclaim, which isn't surprising because the event takes place outside of the SUB. Thus, brothers have the opportunity to get their faces out into the crowd and rally some support for a good cause.
